Peer-Timo Bremer

After some traveling around and some first hand experience with US immigration procedure I have finally arrived in California (again). I am now a computer scientist in the Data Analysis group of the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Among others I work on the VACET project mainly on applying topological methods for the visualization and analysis of scientific data.

I came to Livermore after being a post-doc at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign working with John Hart on MLS surfaces, all-quad remeshing, and all kinds of other interesting graphics problems. Before that, I got my Ph.D. in computer science in the Fall of 2004 from the University of California, Davis. I the mythical time before getting stuck in the new world I obtained a Diplom (M.S.) in mathematics with a second major in computer science and a minor in neuro-biology from the University of Hannover, Germany. Lastly, legend has it that I supposedly graduated from the 1267 A.D.-founded Ratsgymnasium Hannover. If you really need to know more you can check out my full CV.

If you want to know what I'm currently doing check out my latest papers or write me an email.
