I am currently a Ph.D student in Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interest is Computer Graphics. I did my undergraduate study in Department of Computer Science at National Chiao Tung University. Before I came to US, I also did a few parachutings in R.O.C Army.

Other Graphics Projects

Multi-Resolution Mesh Deformation with Error Visualization

Course Project for CS519 : Scientific Visualization

Instructor : Prof. John Hart

Developing and implementing a mesh deformation system based on Laplacian mesh editing and progressive mesh. The user can edit and reconstruct the mesh at different resolutions and visualize errors from the original mesh due to simplification or deformation.

Cache-Based Rendering of Translucent Objects

Course Project for CS598 : Advanced Graphics Rendering and Animation

Instructor : Prof. Yizhou Yu

Developing and implementing a subsurface scattering feature in my global illumination renderer. The rendering efficiency is improved by caching the irradiance at sparse locations and interpolating the image from them.
